DAY 1: NEMRUT

You will be picked up from your hotel and be transferred to the Istanbul Airport. And then, you fly to Adiyaman. When you arrive at Adiyaman and you transferred to the hotel, you can enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. You stay overnight in Adiyaman.

DAY 2: GOBEKLITEPE

Early in the morning, you will start your day and after the short drive to the entrance you go on a 30 minutes hike to the summit of the Mount Nemrut.  You can enjoy sunrise between colossal size statues and heads of the king and gods. We also visit Arsemia which was once the capital of Commagene Kingdom. Then, we will visit ancient Septimus Severus Bridge and the Karakus Tumulus.

After some free time, we depart from Nemrut and drive to the Sanliurfa. Sanliurfa was known as Edessa in ancient period. Edessa was always known as one of the most important Holy Sites of the world. You will travel to the archeological dig at Gobeklitepe. Gobeklitepe is known as “The World’s First Temple of Mankind” and it´s about 12.000 years before the day. After that, you visit Sanliurfa Archeologic and Mosaic Museum which is the largest museum complex in Turkey. Then you visit the Pools of Abraham and the cave where local tradition says the Prophet Abraham was born.

After the tour, we drive to the Sanliurfa Airport and we fly back to Istanbul. You will be picked up from the airport and transferred to your hotel.
